NDOE Press – The FSM Association of Chief State School Officers (FACSSO) is holding its first meeting of the fiscal year at the National Department of Education (NDOE) Conference Room in Pohnpei, from June 17-20, 2024. This gathering brings together key education leaders from across the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) to discuss important updates and communications.
The meeting includes participation from: COM-FSM: President Dr. Theresa Koroivulaono, CDOE: Director Dr. Margarita Cholymay,
KDOE: Director Dr. Tulensru Waguk/(Betty Sigrah), PDOE: Director Stanley Etse, YDOE: Director Dominic Fanasog and NDOE: Secretary Gardenia Aisek.
During this four-day event, these education leaders will share updates from their respective departments and discuss strategies to improve education across FSM. Key topics likely include teacher certification, student performance, resource allocation and etc. The meeting aims to foster collaboration and ensure that all states are aligned in their efforts to enhance the quality of education for students throughout the FSM.
