Welcome to CELPP Project Coordinator Homepage!
The Comprehensive Evaluation and Learning Program Project (CELPP) is an educational initiative designed to improve outcomes for students with disabilities. It is a project developed by the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) and funded by the United States Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP).
The CELPP project aims to help educators develop more effective strategies for identifying and serving students with disabilities, particularly those with complex needs. It is intended to provide guidance and resources for educators, families, and other stakeholders in the special education community.
The project is organized around several key goals, including:
Developing and implementing high-quality, comprehensive evaluation systems for students with disabilities.
Enhancing professional development opportunities for educators working with students with disabilities.
Providing technical assistance and support to schools and districts in implementing evidence-based practices for students with disabilities.
Engaging families and other stakeholders in the special education process to ensure that students receive the support and services they need to succeed.
Overall, the CELPP project is an important effort to improve the quality of education and support available to students with disabilities, and to promote equity and inclusion in our schools and communities.
