Fiscal Officer, Administration
The Fiscal Specialist, who reports directly to the Administrative Officer, plays a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the Department’s financial records. With the exception of the Division of Special Services, the Specialist is responsible for reconciling all financial records to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
The Specialist is tasked with updating the ledger of purchases made by the Department, ensuring that all transactions are recorded in a timely and accurate manner. In addition, the Specialist prepares periodic reports that provide insightful analysis into the Department’s financial performance, including quarterly and annual reports.
In collaboration with the Administrative Officer and other Department staff, the Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing fiscal management policies and procedures. Furthermore, the Specialist may provide training and support to other team members as needed.
It is imperative that the Specialist consistently demonstrates a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, to ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and accounted for. The Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the Department’s financial stability and contributing to the achievement of its goals and objectives.
